As a multi-store laundromat owner for 17 years, Founder & CEO, John MacKrell, understands the highs and lows of the laundromat industry. In 2010, John started a pickup and delivery business in Rhode Island with the hopes of eliminating the excess capacity in his laundromats during the slow mid-week periods. He experienced the successes of owning a great store and the challenges of operating a poor store. In the process, John combined his first-hand experiences to create a comprehensive pickup and delivery platform that is built with the laundromat owner in mind.
In 2019, HappyNest was launched with the mission to provide local laundromat owners with the necessary tools and resources required to scale pickup and delivery service, while creating a strong community of like minded owners.
